The March 17, 2026, Ohio bolide was reported in multiple states and created a blast wave. In Signs 112 – Q1 2026 Concerns, we stated, "The concern is that we are entering a new phase and that many more large bolides will light up our skies in the months ahead." In April, the concern materialized.
We began the Signs series in 2015, and with the April 2026 fireball data, we now see that this concern has, in fact, materialized with a completely new threat. Yet it is the one thing we've long worried most about.
