Thursday 7/8 Monthly Slam, appearances by this year's Slam Team!

Dear Friends,

We're BACK!  The weather isn't exactly Summer-ish... but school's out! Which means one thing....MORE TIME TO WRITE POETRY! If you got new poems, bring them to light this Thursday at the Monthly Slam at the Electric Tea Garden (1402 East Pike St).  This month we are featuring VERY SPECIAL GUESTS...and it's a surprise, so you have to come to find out. Also, the YOUTH SLAM TEAM will be participating in the slam!

FIRST, sign up for our Open Mic, which starts at 8pm.

OR, sign up for our slam and get free entry into the Seattle Youth Team's Send-off Showcase (details to come)! Two rounds, 5 minute time limit. There is no theme this month, so bring your heaters and try to jumpstart summer!  Admission is $3/youth, $5/21+.  Email in...@youthspeaksseattle.org if you have any questions!
