The Pacific Northwest's Premier Youth Spoken Word Program - Youth Speaks Seattle - is ready for a brand new season of poetry slams, open mics, building community, and YOU!

Spokes Meetings are back underway - ALL ARE WELCOME - please join us this monday (and every monday) from 6-7pm.

This week, the meeting will be held at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center:

4408 Delridge Way Southwest, Seattle, WA

Hey y'all - as you may have heard, the weekly spokes meetings are happening again. Tomorrow and every monday at 6pm facilitated by Denise and Daemond (new co-execcutive directors).

ALL ARE WELCOME!!!

Meetings are at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center (4408 Delridge Way SW). Catch the 120 or 125 bus from downtown and its only 10-15 minute ride away.


***MONTHLY SLAM***
Thurs Sept 9th and Every 2nd Thursday at Electric Tea Garden on Capitol Hill on 14th Ave & E Pike. Signups at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:00pm sharp.

This month's host: Katie McCorkell (Youth Speaks 2010 Team member) and featured poet Rose McAleese!!!!!!

The monthly slams are a great place for poets to practice their craft and prep for the slam series which begins in December.
