Yes! Even after the success of MY Vote Fit Change Naija Video, young people now know they can vote the leader of their choice into political offices. What happens next…? The trend has always been that after general elections, much election related activities wind up or loose their steam until the next general elections. Often times, citizenship actions also reduce significantly especially when they believe that the election result reflected their choice of leadership. Politicians also enjoy the respite because of reduced post citizenship engagement. This enables most politicians not to keep to pre-election campaign promises, as well as poor accountability and transparency.
