Dear Amazing Young Advocacte for MNCH.

Greetings from WRA Nigeria. I hope this email meets you well. Appologies for the long silence in communicating with everyone.

Firstly I  like to thank Dr Akudo Nwagbara for her inspring leadership within the YouthMNCH Health Workers Group. The Health workers group currently maintain a Facebook page with over 44 Members.  I also wish to thank  Education as a Vaccine (EVA) for their continued efforts in Promoting Youth MNCH Advocacy.

Secondly, As part of our Youth engagement, WRAN and some partners will be supporting a national network of medical and law students who will gather signatures on a public appeal to President Jonathan while WRAN members in Rivers State are organizing a mass march and rally for July 27  in support and advocacy for Health Workers

WRAN has also turned to social networking to expand its reach and unite advocates throughout the country – an effort for which WRAN was recently awarded the Tech4 Development Award by Microsoft Anglophone West Africa and Paradigm Initiative Nigeria. Jayne Whyte, a member of the Youth E-consultation recieved the Award onbehalf of WRAN

July 11th 2011  is World Population Day, please share your plan of actions with us and invite your friends to join the e-group at http://groups.google.com/group/youthmnch?hl=en

Thank You
