INTERFAITH YOUTH MEET 2009

The Interfaith Youth Meet on December 7, 2009 (9am – 5:30 pm) to be held in New Delhi. The Meet has been conceptualized by the Interfaith Youth Core (IYFC) to provide the practical dialogue space for young activists and people interested in developing a deeper understanding of sacred activism and its impact on leadership in interfaith work across Delhi.

Text Box: Every day we hear that religion is the problem.
We hear that religious and non-religious cannot get long.
We hear that Hindu and Muslim communities will always be at odds.
We hear young people don’t care about the world they live in.
This is not the story
we believe at the Interfaith Youth Core.
Come and explore how you can bring change in
your community by building bridges between groups and organizing social action.
Young people have the power to change the
21st century by building bridges across
religious, ethnic, and cultural difference
                         to better their world.

This programme is follow-up of the US visit under the Youth Leadership Exchange Programme that was undertaken by the delegation from India.
For this programme Face to Faith, Indian Committee of Youth Organizations (ICYO), Tony Blair Faith Foundation, Kutumb Foundation and HOPE are partners.

A day log programme is open for youth representative of Delhi based NGOs.  Those are interested may contact at ic...@icyo-india.org with full details.
