AIMS

To accelerate community development amongst Muslim communities in Australia. The conference aims to:
1) Pool together resources and expertise,
2) Share ideas between different communities on this topic
3) Set down priorities for the next 12-24 months

The topics for the conference are outlined here:

This will provide an opportunity for Muslim communities to learn practical areas of Awqaf development and set priorities and initiate action for the immediate term. There are critical gaps in resource availability to develop spaces and services to meet community needs. Awqaf development has the potential to tackle a major part of it. This conference is aimed at community leaders/elders, service providers and passionate young members of the community. Many community and cultural groups have been invited to attend.
