Horse Riding - To do (+ next up)

Salams guys,

Two items:

1. Horse Riding - 20 people confirmed & paid

Event is on Sunday 18th Nov. Small to do list. Please let me know what you can assist with?

• Event will provide BBQ lunch. We'll need meat, bread, salads, drinks & esky. Someone able to purchase the sausages? Anyone have an esky I can borrow? 
• Islamic Aspect. Ahmed/Mohamed - will any of you be attending this event? Time for topic picking again! Wanting to pick topics on the sciences of Islam if you guys don't mind, where they highlight natural signs all around us (especially since we will be enjoying the views of a valley this Sunday.) E.g. The function of the Mountain (Surat al-anbiya: 31), Miracles of the Seas (Surat ar-Rahman: 19-20) & Fingerprints ( Surat al-Qlyama: 3-4). Thinking of doing a cool handout this time, with pictures + notes?
• Membership forms - Nehad do you have spare ones on hand or does anyone have a soft copy of it?

1. 2. Next Up! Paint Ball Event 

Received an email from a YouthIES regular wanting to collaborate & do another Paintball event. He thoroughly enjoyed last years & thinks he has about 30 mates wanting to go. Jean suggested this event should be a Male-only event as alot of girls didn't enjoy paintball that much last year (Excluding myself - i thoroughly enjoyed it lol).

Thoughts everyone? We run a first ever Male only Paintball event? And so the girls don't feel left out, we run a first ever females only event, maybe a High-tea event open to ALL women? OR We run a Paintball event open for both? Thoughts?

My points:

1. I'm happy to buy sausages and bring an esky with ice. Someone will also need to bring utensils, oil etc to cook with. Are they ok for us to use their bbq facilities?

3. Do we know what time we'll finish up there?
4. Re Paintball - let's do a segregated event this time. Paintball for boys, and something else for girls/women.

Assmaah:

• Thanks - sausages done! 
• They have BBQ facilities. We can use my sister to mind the BBQ, even get it started as she can no longer horse ride with her back out. I'm bringing the utensils, oil, cleaning products etc.
• Actual Horse Riding is b/w 12-2. So BBQ / Pray / Islamic element / etc - probably 4:30pm I estimated inshAllah

Jean - Gosh! Fair enough. 

For the Female only event, I'm thinking High Tea at this point. We can open it to all females,etc. Any other ideas????? Or you guys liking that?

Another fantastic idea for the females is, factory shopping bus tour. It's something different and fun us ladies. I believe there are companies that hold this sort of event.

@Samar - thank you, if you could get enough for 21 that would be great. Maybe include bottle of water for each.

@Nehad -yep I'm going to the meeting this friday so that would be great if u could give me the spare forms then thanks.

Also Nehad good idea, I'll keep it in mind and see what other ideas we get. I'll run a poll maybe on FB.

Sorry, I'm not attending horse riding this weekend so I probably won't be able to help. 

Regarding paintball, I think that's a great idea. Segregated events sounds great for a change. I LOVE the high tea and Factory shopping bus tour ideas!!! Great thinking!!!!
