If we are the solution, then why is it so difficult to embrace the notion

.... that solution does not drop down from heaven in neat
packaging.
If you are the solution, then you shouldn't fine it difficult to muck
in – internal allies[ via c20m the constitution] or as external
allies[c20m the consortia] to create this legacy as an antidote to te
mainstream legacy in creative culture- especially getting people –
especially youth involved- http://groups.google.com/group/youthcultural-olympia-2008.
Requiring C20M to have a website which pop-up when you
google it- before you become the solution- is this not diminishing
yourself to be as petty as the youths who would knife someone to death
just because of some argument? Also why is it alright to get involved
when we have the 4 years’ funding in place.
But, not to incorporate the concept of this year’s Youth
& Cultural Olympia – by a mere adaptation here and there – into your
own existing programme? It is like saying until the manna drop down,
let the killing continue. Or my role models as good exemplary youth
will have to be on the back burner until then.
But, suppose tomorrow, you become the statistic. Then, are
you going to do it- from heaven- when the manna have dropped from
heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Do not forget you are the legacy yourself- the boy scot and
girl guides in community rebuilding by reclaiming the creative
culture. If nothing else, in reclaiming the echo-ethic culture- see
article on Global ethic. In reclaiming or rebuilding healthy
emotional literacy again towards been able to care for the community
and the environment and the individuals in it!!!!

Every one is concerned about the knife, gun, drug crime.
Shouldn't people be moved to donate their time, talents to make
possible this youth and cultural olympia which aims to tackle the root
cause of knives, guns and drug crime through creative expression - be
it , production, writing, directing, acting, lighting, stage design,
digital, fundraising and a thousand and one tasks. In the village, the
community get together to hold a wedding or a furneral. It stricks me
as rather odds, people especially youth would come out in armies for
condolence when a youth has been stabbed. But when it comes to been
the solution. Are we so disabled by the media, the whole creative
culture and the gang, knives, etc culture that we cannot believe we
can do anything any more???. Everyone moan about the media this and
that. What is it so difficult for people to apprehend we can create
this other media by some social enterprenuership??? . How much it
cost to print a free newsletter and distribute it and before you know
it - would become sustainable through advertising revenues.
Likewise the emerging platform of movies on the mobile and
on the internet.
What you get as remuneration, will be whatever the
fundraising would command- after allowing for core expenses.
People is willing to pay XXXX to be in MakeProvertyHistory?
Shouldn't people be concerned enough to want TO BE THE SOLUTION IN
MAKING VIOLENCE HISTORY?-MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY WHO JOIN IN - MAKING
POSSIBLE A LEGACY- WHICH MAKE VIOLENCE HISTORY- THROUGH RE-CLAMING
CREATIVE CULTURE- WHICH AFTER ALL HAVE A HUGE ROLE IN CONTRIBUTING TO
THE GLAMOUR AND THE FEAR THAT LEAD TO THE REALITY OF GANGS, KNIVES,
GUNS AND DRUG CIRMES AS REALITY.
Is village storytelling's contribution towards citizenship all
forgotten?
