Hi there, just so you can tell the kids I am doing my homework, I have looked at all the beautiful shields and come up with some common themes.  Obviously, balls, bats, wickets and players are featured.  For those that used color, green, yellow, red and orange are common.  I have created a design using as elements of each one and will color it in and attach it soon.  I m not sure I can pick between the slogans though so I might pick a top three and you all can vote (if that's ok with you). 

Hopefully you'll have something to show the kids before the end of the week

Thanks a bunch for the hard work.  The kids were excited but am sure can wait some more time :)

Parents,

We've had some really good submissions for the shield and the captions.  We will not be voting on the shield design.  Instead Deb will be taking some elements from various designs and coming up with one final design. As per the caption, the best one will be picked.  All our kids are very balanced and I know they will be very accepting of the final choice.  I request you to please set the right expectations with the kids.  

Once the shield and caption are finalized, we will be ordering T-shirts with these.  Details of those will be coming out in a couple weeks.
