Youth/Kids Cricket in Austin

This group is focused on kids playing cricket and having a good time.  We play on Sunday mornings either at Zilker Park or Dick Nichols.  The game is usually played with plastic equipment and taped tennis balls.  However as the kids become comfortable, we might be introducing them to the actual leather ball.  The games are usually played on Sunday mornings starting at 8am and last about 3 hours.  Most of the parents take this time to help out but there are occasions when parents have to leave and come back to pick the kids up.  No prior experience is required to play.  Its best if you can come join us for a week or two and then have the kid experience it.  There is no fees involved for playing.  Games are played year around - every week.  Ideally we would like the kid to be present from start to end - this gives them a good chance to participate in all activities - bowling, batting and fielding.
