Hi all:

It was so great to work with you all last year. This year, as a
transition year, we have a real opportunity to push things forward.

COP18 is coming up, and this group is going to start getting more
active. We'll schedule a group call soon, but first, I'm hunting down
some documents. I'm also trying to catch up to see where things stand
with UNFCCC and water. What's the latest, what has changed since Rio.

1) *Does anyone have the final policy position we passed? Both the
version we passed in YOUNGO, and the extended version we worked on as
a group?

2) Can anyone help fill us in on the current status of water policy in
the UNFCCC, after COP17 and Rio?
*Any documents or articles or insights you have, please attach them to
this thread.

Excited to get to work with you all, and step things up this year.

Hey Adam,

Great to hear from you again and for things to be starting with water policy again. I think we were pretty amazing last year and can be even more productive at COP this year and in the lead up to it.

Answer to the first question. I don't think I have either final version. I remember Kester may have had the versions but I could be wrong. Importantly, if anyone has the one we agreed on ourselves as being stronger but didn't submit to YOUNGO (Due to time constraints) it would be a great thing to update that and pass it as a policy position via the lists fairly soon.

Cheers,

Jamie
