hello Laura-Jayne Hughe and the rest. I like to thankyou for the heavy work and dedication you have offered to water group. I hope with greater motivation that the policies that you are creating are going to be multinationalised to belong to all countries . I wish that you are going to concentrate on new cleaner technology and the serios issues which are facing the rural areas more especially in South Africa. Remeber that we have highligted the fact that we have problem of water outsourcing in their reserves . Therefore we need the funding scheme which shall help local people more especially in rural areas to channel waters fromwell resourced areas to areas with less water table capacities. There is a guy who came to clarify that my point was possible good if potability and sustainability of water that is being used by the community is to be considered seriously. I have been attending other meetings and I have developed ither more important main important pints to add wupon what we had . I do acknowledge that the final policy document has been made. However as the one who authorised the go-ahead to it I xcan wish to add some few three more .
1) People in rural areas need to form organisations to bid up for water and wind power or solar popwer installation for pumping waters. People in rural areas a dumped and they rely on bad water to drink , that exposes thaem to diseases. Some of these areas where they live are noct accessible even with the aid of the aeroplane. So that is why we strongly recommend the presence of the local NGOs which shall meet those in the funding schemes to get access to waters. I am very worried to express there are areas wwhere they do not use tap waters at all but who have to travel half a 500 Metres to rivers just to get waters , due these climate changes. Therefore if we are passionate about freshwater redistribution and safety health to our communities we have to start thinking these points seriously. Lastly, I wish to hilight that the rural urban migration which are taking place in Soouth Africa are due lack of water and powershortages in rural areas . We may have underestimated the fact tha t the loss of electricity in South Africa was not indicating the ecopnomic downturns but it was indicating that our economy has expanded more than the average amount of power supply we mare having . Therefore South Africa must change it idea of using electricity as the min power supply to our community and start to use the new solar panel systems in rural areas . In most deep parts of 3rd world countries there are no heavy industries which needs a lot of electricty powerbut there are just segregated communities . Therefore it is inevitable for all of us to agree that there is no need fr power -line ellectricty among those families. Indeed outside of water , the leducational systems themselves have been altered. This issue has been highligted by Dubazane from Eastern Cape South Africa. We need to install power as soon as possble as school kisd have to need power for computer and other main important research query. The modern education is like voluntary and there is no any single family which need not to have TV at hoime. Tyhank s friends we shall chart more in the mrning
