***
Dear All
After two years of intensive collaboration with 12 circus people from 10 different European countries the Adults Training in Europe (CATE) Handbook CATE Handbook is completed and can be found on the EYCO website:
http://www.eyco.org/ where you can also find English translation of the Dutch guidelines developed by LKCA (formerly known as Kunstfactor): Guidelines for a Trainers Development Program for Youth Circus.
The CATE Handbook consists of three different models for a basic training pedagogical training courses. These have been designed to address and be adaptable to all the different circus training realities throughout Europe:
A Jigsaw Puzzle Formation (5 parts) – coherent elements to be used in any order you wish and An Hourglass Formation (3 parts) with
an initial tutor led one-week workshop - guided learning
practical experience - on the job training
a tutor led one-week summation and assessment - guided reflection
Put together in The CATE Handbook, all for potential and practicing trainers, inspiring and guiding their practical training.
I hope you will have a great time using the different parts of the outcomes of the CATE project.
Please let us know by commenting on the EYCO website
