Hello,

As a supporter, booker or advocate of circus performance, I wanted to let you know about my campaign to support the circus artists of the future.

I've worked with Bright Night International for the last three years to develop circus in Scotland. With support from all kinds of people we grew the scale of our projects and have got an amazing Commonwealth Youth Circus programme running for a year with 19 young people.

I am looking for backers to support a programme of teacher training for the best of our young people so they can take the next step in their circus careers, support themselves and help build a better future for circus in Glasgow and across Scotland.

Not only will it benefit them, but it will make community circus more widely available for charities, community organisations and ordinary young people. 

It's part of my bigger dream of starting a Scottish circus school, but that will come later.  For now I hope you can help me reach my target of £4,500 by Friday 11 April, the courageous early backers have got me 28% of the way there already.
