Hello all,

If you are 18-30 in Canada and are on your way to becoming an Internet leader (or know someone who is), please consider applying for a Youth IGF Canada Travel & Accommodations Honourarium. The deadline to apply is tomorrow, Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

The Honourariums will support your flights and hotel to arrive in Toronto to attend the first ever Canada Youth IGF on 27 September 2024. Honourarium recipients do not need to register for a ticket to the Forum. These Honourariums are possible from generous funding by a CIRA Net Good Grant.

We are accepting applications from youth aged 18-30. We are also prioritizing applicants who identify as:

• First Nations, Métis, or Inuit
• Persons with disabilities (visible and invisible)
• Young women working to end technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV)

Priority will be given to applicants who meet the criteria above who come from rural and remote areas with low broadband access. We aim to have representation from all provinces and territories.
