Travel and Accommodation Assistance
We are keen to ensure all young Canadians interested can attend and have a number of honoraria available for individuals who need assistance with travel and accommodation. Thanks to the Canadian Internet Registration Authority Net Good Grant, our Travel and Accommodations Honorarium program will cover flights and hotel costs for successful applicants. Some meals will be provided at the Canada Youth IGF.
We are accepting applications from youth aged 18-30 who identify as:
Indigenous, Métis, or Inuit
Persons with disabilities (visible and invisible)
Young women working to end technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV)
Priority will be given to applicants who meet the criteria above who come from rural and remote areas with low broadband access. We aim to have representation from all provinces and territories.
If you’re interested in requesting travel and accommodations assistance, please apply online via Google Form by Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Individuals who apply for assistance are not required to register for a ticket via Eventbrite separately.
