Hello Canada Youth Internet Governance Community,

We hope you had a restful break and enjoyed any holidays you might have celebrated. We are excited to return this 2025 with a full plan of new Audacious Goals to achieve our mission of building the next generation of Canadian Internet leaders. You can read about our new slate of Goals on our website.

Additionally, to achieve our plans, we are opening up the Youth IGF Canada Executive Council with a Call for Volunteers. This call will be open to Canadian youth, or youth in Canada, aged 18-30 to apply for specified roles. You can read more about our Call for Volunteers on our website. Applications are due at 11:59 p.m. ET on 31 January 2025.

All of this and more is described in our biweekly newsletter, The Canadian Connectivity Chronicles which you can read online. In this issue of our newsletter, we are highlighting quite a few opportunities in Internet governance for youth in Canada.
