Hi again everyone,

> MEETING 03 (11th May 09): The agenda for this Monday’s meeting is to talk about the planned party and the publication. These were mentioned in the previous mailing, but here is some info about the plans again:

1) On the 23rd of May we are planning it a party (for about 20-25
guests) for people who own their time at the LAND*. We will all cook
together, enjoy some good music, talk about plans and try to seed a
community feeling amongst us. It will help us network with other who
own their own time in a more informal setting. The party space is
being created by Dharmesh Ghangani, an architect from CEPT working at
CNT in Bangalore.

2) Dharmesh and I will be doing a 5-day temporary architecture
workshop to make structures on the LAND. The workshop will be with
people from design and non-design backgrounds in June 1st week (exact
dates tobe frozen).

3) A YourTime Magazine which goes deeper into the issues of work-life,
life-work, time, leisure, productivity, unemployment and related
issues is under planning - what do you think about this?

I will be fishing for volunteers for specific activities (writing,
photography, planning the meal, arranging the music etc.) so do think
about what you’d like to do.

>> EXPERIMENT: For this meeting everyone who drops in is requested to being along something to sit on - any stool, chair, mat and something to mark the place with (something to tie to the pillars, something colourful...). How does the space get shaped by a group?

>> TIME: From 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 noon and then a small lunch if everyone wants

>> PLACE: At the LAND. LAND = UWA hostel plot, New Thippasandra, Link to the google map: http://is.gd/rl5p or call me if you need directions. We are planning to mark the route to the plot from BEML gate as well as the BEML campus. It will be simpler to find then.
