Asalaam o Alaikum Brother!

One thing I would like to clear myself is why after seeing such TV
commercial our Ulma Karam's started to say whether JJ saying is a
Fatwa or not.
There are so many evil doing going on in our society and no Alim or
Ullama Karam has ever dare to say any Fatwa about it, the vulgarity,
the obscenity, the media programmes etc. are showing such materials
that is not close to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) teaching. No one has
ever said anything or given a single Fatwa against them.
Even now people have to reach them for this JJ commercial whether its
is haram or hallal, they didn't come up with them self. They should
talk to JJ about this commercial why he did this and what are the
proof on which he did that commercial.

I am not contradicting to our Azim Alims and Ullam Karam's as they
have vast knowledge then me. But they should look at the society with
more keenness and see where the problems are. They shouldn't wait for
other to come to them. It is there duty to come to public and address
the nation about the teaching of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and eradicate
the evil doing.

May Allah guide us to the right path and help us finding the TRUTH,
Aa'men.

I don't agree with the views expressed in this mail. ulema have done the right thing by publicising the fatwa about lays chips. it is not a minor issue. instead that should have been published in leading newspapers on cover page. jj was ignorant like us when he worked in that commercial. I had banned lays chips in my family but i saw the jj commercial we started consuming them again....thinking that if he is lying than he will responsible for our misdeed..... now that i have gone through all the fatwas i have doubts about the legitimacy of lays chips. religion is very clear on such isuues...whatever is dubious should be abstained from....I guess the sample lays showed to jj was not prepared with the controversial taste enhancers...Lays should publically admit their sin n seek forgiveness.
