Where: Meet at the corner of 22nd and Mission and March to Panchita’s #3 (on 22 btw Van Ness & Capp)
Why: Because workers at Panchita’s #3 were paid only
$200 per week for full-time work. Female
workers were harassed, yelled at, and forced to work two whole weeks without any
pay. Unfortunately, Panchita’s #3 and
owner Johnny Marenco are not the only examples of this kind of treatment and
working environment in SF. Wage Theft
and worker abuse is all over our city, and we are here to Say STOP, BASTA!
WE WILL NOT let Johnny Marenco’s behavior go
unnoticed to the community. We will be passing out fliers and the workers
will be there to tell their stories.

Porque: Trabajadores en Panchita’s #3 estaban pagados solo $200 a la semana por trabajo full-time. Trabajadoras mujeres sufrieron acoso, las gritaban, y tenían que trabajar dos semanas sin pago. Desafortunadamente, Panchita’s #3 y su dueño Johnny Marenco no es el único ejemplo de este tipo de tratamiento y ambiente del trabajo en SF. El Robo de Sueldos y el abuso de trabajadores existe en todos lados de nuestra ciudad, y estamos aquí para decir BASTA!
NO VAMOS A DEJAR que el comportamiento de Johnny Marenco sea escondido en la comunidad. Vamos a pasar folletos y las trabajadoras van a estar para contar sus historias.
