low-budget strategies for beefing up your health and safety
program. Understand Cal/OSHA requirements
and how to engage your employees to look out for and address
potential safety problems before anyone gets hurt.
All attendees will receive a complimentary set of materials,
including tip sheets and training materials designed for the
restaurant industry.
Materials are available in Spanish and English.

The Small Business Safety Training Program is part of the Worker Occupational Safety and Health Training and Education Program (WOSHTEP) which is administered by the Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation in the Department of Industrial Relations through inter-agency agreements with the Labor Occupational Health Program (LOHP) at UC Berkeley, the Western Center for Agricultural Health and Safety (WCAHS) at UC Davis, and the Labor Occupational Safety and Health Program (LOSH) at UCLA. Training workshops are also partially funded by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), grant # SH-20864SHO.
