San Francisco Jobs with Justice Stands with Hotel Workers

Jobs with Justice is a national network of action-oriented coalitions of labor, community and religious organizations working together to build unity and support for the struggles of working people on their jobs and in their communities.  A new chapter is forming in San Francisco, to strengthen the ties between the labor and the community justice movements.

San Francisco Jobs with Justice is kicking off our work with a solidarity campaign to give strength and support to the hotel workers in their fight for fair contracts with medical benefits, wage increases and fair treatment from the hotel industry that has been reaping huge profits even during the economic crisis. UNITE HERE Local 2 is turning up the pressure in 2010, and JwJ is joining this critical struggle for all working families in San Francisco.

January 5th is UNITE HERE Local 2’s first big action of the year!

Please be at the action as we join Local 2 and rock the hotels to start the 2010 campaign to win a new hotel contract for thousands of workers!
