Minutes for the meeting held on 3/11/2014 at Watoto Central.

Attendance:

Peter, Alex, Joel, Lillian, Suzan, Micheal, Richard, Rachael, Yeko, Gilbert, Julie,Douglas and Cathy

Absent with apology

Min 1:

Peter emphasized on continuous praying for the ministry daily in our private life and to review leaders manual constantly to understand the ministry.

  

Min 2:

Leaders should keep on  researching about the market place material as to build our knowledge base  of market place.

And as leaders we need to be equipped in prayer, researching about the market place.

Min 3:

Review of previous meeting minutes.

• To pray for the direction clarity of market place.
  
• Review at each district level on  the roles of the leaders
  
• Committee meeting pastors especially this week
  
• Retreat information from Richard
  
• Re branding  process
  

Min 4: Feedback

Central  - Joel

The central team committed themselves to serve.

Also the team met Ps Julius on Friday and pastor noted to find out a need of the church for example for 25 or 40 year  because each church  has different needs. and also handover of the old team to new  team should be considered.

The committee at Central comprise of Joel- Team Leader, Alex- Vice Team leader, Jimmy Odong - PRO, Anna Odur- Prayer Secretary and Suzan Nansubuga - Admin

East  - Suzan

They had a meeting on Saturday of 3 people and the members who attended were willing to serve, however  they have met the pastor.

Yeko noted about David who go for further studies a broad.

Committee at East:

David - Team leader, Suzan - vice team leader, Nyanga Robert - PRO, Birungi - prayer secretary

 North - Lillian

Set an appointment with Ps Joshua, so he will give a date and pastor suggested to diversity of the ministry.

Committee at North

Lillian - Team leader, Micheal - Vice Team leader, Dominic - PRO, Rose - Prayer secretary and Esther - Admin

South - Richard Mayanja

They had a long discussion and the team went through the leaders manual together, they pledged to serve and they are meeting Pr, Edward on Thursday

Committee:

Richard - Team Leader, Gilbert - Vice team leader, Christian - PRO, Aidah - prayer secretary and Rita - Admin.

West- Douglas

The team leader went to Gulu and exercise of confirmation is underway  

Min 5: Retreat

There's change of the dates for the retreat to 29-30 November 2014 due to Power phat fest in December.

Remark of week of prayer and fasting

Review of the cost of the venue, therefore Douglas and Richard will liaise to appropriate venue with a visit at NARO in mukono.

so each member is  to contribute 70k

Thanks Alex for the minutes.

As we embark on the journey of rebranding, lets pray that everyone who comes to young workers will find a home therein. That our agenda will be very clear and represent the needs of the people out there in church and also very importantly address the market place needs. Lastly I am reminded about the scripture in Colossians 4:6.

Kudos to the team!!!

Thanks Alex for these precise and timely minutes.

 

Many thanks team for the positive execution strides taken as agreed in the previous meeting. It’s great to have fully constituted and committed to serve leadership teams at South, North, Central and West. East we await your closure. Interestingly I was having a chat with Ps. Julius Rwotlonyo, Central District Pastor this afternoon and he is very excited by the Central team composition and is looking forward to a great outcome from the ministry.

 

For those districts that are yet to meet with their district pastors, we await closure this week.

 

In the minutes we had the omission of members who were absent without apology – Harriet, David, Sandra Mulindwa. Team its only courteous for us to communicate when we cannot make it for the meetings. So we shouldn’t have anyone listed under absent without apology going forward.

 

Otherwise I thank God for each one of you that God has called to carry this new direction forward; I very excited about the great team God is buidling.
