Hi all,

As part of capacity building I know it was quickly mentioned that we should have a person who acts as a point of contact for any general inquiries, requests for information, for help, resources, etc. Right now that role is only being filled for non-logistics (Adrian) but no single person is helping to tie all of this together. I know of a few people are covering it for some of the groups, but there is no information out there for all of the groups on where they can go for help.

This is something I did last year and am already doing a bit this year, especially for the groups who attended Poznan last year so am more than willing to take on the role again. If someone else would like to take it on that is cool as well! I'm happy to support the process and figure out how to make it all work.

Of course this is all pending general agreement that this is valuable and the best way to do this.

I would see a message to the constituency listserve being structured to cover the following:
  • introduce the general inquiries (non-logistics) contact and how to reach them (and why you would reach them)
  • remind folks of Adrian's role and why/how to contact him
  • remind folks of the Focal Point roles, why/how to contact them

Hello Aiden and All,

Aiden i would volunteer to join you as contact or focal person for the capacity building WG.

Is it possible (to Aiden) to get some flash drives where we can dump all the informations and resources and give it out to youth delegates upon their arrival and they can always open and use it for reference even without internet.

Can we also agree on specific capacity building resources and tools we want to pass to the delegates?

I am currently in Barcelona with the AVAAZ Action Factory and if any of you is here we could meet at the youth meeting today just aks for Ibrahim Ceesay>>>>>>>>>>

Regards

This would be super helpful to fringers like us.  We can't keep up and haven't been central, but try to stay attached.  Thanks, Victoria
