Workshop - Growing Vegetables in a Hoop House Join us we install a brand new hoop house/high tunnel at the Goodnow Community Center's garden! A hoop house is an unheated, plastic-covered greenhouse that offers plants protection from environmental conditions. High tunnel sizes vary; the Goodnow hoophouse will be a moderate 12 ft x 24 ft. Vinnie Bevivino of Seed and Cycle will lead this public workshop, covering basics of year-round growing in a hoop house, repair of hoop houses, and irrigation.
