Good morning everyone,
Just wanted to remind everyone that this Friday at 5pm will be the Kick-off Potluck for the Young Farmer Brigade at ECO City Farms in Edmonston, MD.
Bring your farmer buddies, farming allies, friends, food and drinks! Our theme for this potluck will be land access and we will have a discussion with folks from Montgomery Landlink and the Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission about land access issues and options in our region. We will also have a farm tour of ECO City and enjoy potluck dinner together.
Tara Megos of Hidden Harvest Farm will give a short talk on her story starting an urban farm through Baltimore City's Adopt-a-Lot program.
