Dear all Young Stationers and friends,

We are very much looking forward to our second Annual Dinner in Stationers’ Hall, next Monday on 20th July. Our speaker will be  David Aaronovitch, prizewinning columnist at The Times.

The Annual Dinner is also the evening on which the Master presents the Young Stationers' Prize, given for extraordinary achievement in one of the trades of the Company by a person under the age of 40.

Last year's recipient was Katie Glass, a columnist at the Sunday Times, and the shortlist for the 2015 Prize is below.  .

We would be awfully grateful to see many of you there.  Miss Sophie Miller in the Company Office is handling booking, at ad...@stationers.org, and there is no limit to the number of guests you may bring.

with all very best wishes, and many thanks,

Paddy Belton

Announcement of Shortlist

The judges are delighted to announce the shortlist of the 2015 Young Stationers' Prize, awarded for achievement and promise in journalism, publishing, printing and paper, and any other trade of the Stationers' Company, to a recipient who will normally be under 40.

Anna McKane, a former Reuters journalist and journalism lecturer at the City University, said on behalf of the judges the 2015 Prize yielded 'an excellent field of extremely interesting and varied types of work, which reflects the breadth of endeavour covered by the Company.'
