Dear Young Stationers,

Hullo, to all of you! I wondered if I might write and invite all of you to the next few events in our diary - to which we would be so very grateful to have you all along!

On the 26th of February, a group of us are travelling to Kent for an afternoon visit to the headquarters of the Kent Messenger Group – whose chief executive Geraldine Allison, who will be showing us around, is a court assistant at the Stationers.  We will be meeting at 13.30 at St Pancras to take the 13.55 to Strood, and Geraldine will show us around and introduce us to the various staff; we'll dine informally with all of them after.

Our next event after is the 15th March, in the evening, when a group of us will go to St Bride's for a choral tour of the journalists' and printers' church, followed by an inky tour of the St Bride's Institute next door.

And in April, there will be a visit to Oxford University Press, followed by a dinner in Merton College, Oxford, which is very likely to be a joint event with the Society of Young Publishers and the Stationers' clerk, who also this year is High Sheriff of Oxford.

A bit further down the road, on the 18th October, we will be having a dinner in the Peers' Dining Room of the House of Lords, hosted by Lord Laird of Artigarvan, and we'll have a speaker whom we'll hopefully be able to announce shortly.

We'd love to have you along for all of this. Also, we've a Facebook group, athttps://www.facebook.com/groups/215141665250050/, which really is the best way of staying abreast of the Young Stationers' mischief.

With all very best wishes,

Pádraig
