My dear Young Stationers and our friends,

Hullo - I hope you're all very well indeed!  I'm packing my bags as we speak to trot off to cover the Ukrainian elections.

Our next dinner will be in ten days' time, at the Honourable Artillery Company with Times religion writer Ruth Gledhill.  After last dinner's gin and tonic sorbet, we now are having Guinness-braised beef. Particularly keen minds might spot a trend.

I'd be very grateful if those of you who might be able to join us could send through your pennies tonight or tomorrow, as I'd like to get most of the planning done before I pop to Donetsk.

I'm also attaching a flyer for our following dinner, with the editor of Hansard in Stationers' Hall, where we hope to be able to award the first annual Young Stationers' Medal for service to the trades of our Company, by someone generally under the age of 40, and also for promise. We've assembled a truly impressive panel of judges, and will be grateful for your help in spreading the world, to those who might have someone to nominate!

with all my very best wishes,
Paddy
