Dinner with Christopher McKane of The Times, 6th March

I'm very grateful to all of you for joining this list!
A very quick note with one for your diaries. Christopher McKane of
The Times (biog below) will be our guest at our first Young Stationers
dinner, which will be on the 6th March. I'll have further details
sharpish. Please do come join; we'd really be awfully grateful to
have you come along!
Along with chat and taking our questions, he'll bring us on a
20-minute canter round the first issue of The Times. We'll all be
given a facsimile of the January 1 1785 paper to take away and have
our attention drawn to the multitude of quirky things in it which take
Christopher's fancy, as well as looking at John Walter's mission
statement, much of which still informs Times journalism today.
Please do keep the date free! More very soon about the venue, which
I suspect might be in clubland.
