It is that time of the year again!

Ramzan is just around the corner...

Assalaamualekum,

We are all surely geared up for upcoming Holy month of Ramazan. This is the time to ponder and to reflect upon the mercies bestowed by The Almighty upon us and how we can better serve Him. This month of gaining ‘Taqwa’, drawing closer to Allah, striving for ‘Ihsan’, acquiring patience, refining manners, learning one can change, learning discipline, sensing unity among Muslims and being more charitable through Sadqa, Hadiya, Zakat & Fitra.

Zakat is one duty which is religiously observed by devoute Muslims throughout the year and more so during the month of Ramazan as this is the month of Blessings wherein the Good Deeds are multiplied. The word Zakat means both ‘purification’ and ‘growth’. Our possessions are purified by setting aside a proportion for those in need, and, like the pruning of plants, this cutting back, balances and encourages new growth.
The Qur’an always emphasizes on the issue of feeding the hungry and helping those who are in need, and the more you help, the more God helps you. And the more you give, the more God gives you.

AMP Zakat Fund – Plan for 2016

We have been working on the supporting Higher Education and Self Employment since last three years and have helped 157 students for Higher Education and 69 people for Self-Employment.

This year onwards realizing the need of times we have added two more avenues of supporting Orphans and under-privileged students who have secured admissions in the prestigious IIT institutions and struggling to pay their fees.

In Sha Allah we would be launching 4 specific campaigns as well for the same, namely,

1. Support A Higher Education – Empower Lives.

2. Support A Small Business – Make A Happy Family.

3. Make in India – Make an IITian.

4. Shape A Life – Support an Orphan.

This endeavor can surely achieve the desired success but only through collectively efforts and well-coordinated team work of all our valuable AMP members, associates and well wishers spread across the globe.
