Are you ready for the Cold and Flu Season???

Make sure your medicine chest is stocked with these wellness oils and supplements so you can fight the first symptoms of cold and flu.

For Cold and Flu, I keep several bottles of Thieves and R.C. on hand and use them daily. Personally, I have not taken the flu vaccine in years and have been very healthy even when exposed to many sick people in the hospital.

How do I use them?

1. First thing after getting out of the shower in the morning, I apply several drops of both oils to the bottom of my feet.

2. I diffuse Thieves every evening for at least 30 minutes in a common room of the house.

3. For you who have small children who still take baths, apply several drops of RC and Thieves to a cup of epsom salt and add that to their bath water. I had a testimony from a total stranger who said her children never had a cold or flu until the age of seven ( when they started to take showers) because she did this.

If you start to feel achy and run down one of the best supplements I have found in Inner Defense. This is one supplement I keep on hand at all times. I use it immediately when I start to feel sick. It is a mixture of Thieves oil, several species of Oregano oil and is very powerful. I find it is best to take on a full stomach because it is so strong.

At the first sign of a scratchy throat use your neti pot with oils added to the salt mixture.

Take 8 Tbls of fine sea salt

Add 5-8 drops of rosemary oil

Add 5-8 drops of tea tree oil

Mix the oils well in the salt

Keep in a glass air tight container

Take ¼ tsp and add to warm water in neti pot

Use every morning and/or night at the first sign of sore throat. (Note: I have even used this mixture to gargle with)

For stuffy nose, I love Breath Again Roll On. This is a very convenient roll on that has several species of Eucalypts in it. I use it on the bridge of my nose as needed. It is great to carry in your purse or pocket

This is nice, did you do this yourself?

We recently adopted a kitten from the local shelter and after getting her home, found that she had quite a cold.  We took her to the vet who told us it was a "cold" and would have to run its course.  Well we have other pets and it was difficut keeping her quarantined, but we did.  I ended up using our Thieves diffuser in the room we kept her in and also put some on a cloth and rubbed it on her.  She was better in no time and I totally believe it was the Thieves!  Thanks!

I have no doubt you are right. Thieves and all of these oils are perfectly safe to use on your pets. I used many oils on my dog over the years and continue to use them on my cats for different things.
