Pre-Christmas Get together

Hello everyone!

Well, it seems like everyone has been super busy (I know I'm guilty of
that). But for the spirit of the holiday season, and for those that
will actually be around, I think we should have a get-together atleast
during the week before christmas(12/19-12/23) or right after. What does
everyone think?

I thought some or all of you maybe interested in this event tomorrow night
(sorry for the short notice). I joined the club a few months ago.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make it to any of the events. But I
really like the set up and purpose of the club.

Tomorrow night they are doing speed friending. You need to RSVP, but there is
no charge. I am hoping to make it, but I have a final coming up next Monday,
so I am trying to study.

Bummer, but I'll be back in California waiting for the birth of my first niece the week of Dec 19 so I'll miss the holiday get together.  Had a great time at the dinner a few weeks ago so I look forward to the pot-luck or any other event organized in January.

No date and venue yet, although the 21st looks like it might be a good day. As for the secret santa, how exactly would that work? Wouldn't we all have to meet up first to draw names and then meet again to get the gifts? Or just bring random gifts to the get together and pull them out of a bag?

If everyone brings a small gift, then everyone at the gathering will get one.  Something small would be fine.  I have a final on the 22nd, so I probably won't be joining you guys.  =(

yeah, we all bring a gift and we put a number on each of them. each of
us draw a number and whatever number we have will determine which gift
we get, etc...yes?
