Don't forget, Theology on Tap is TONIGHT! Join us and the Diocese of Syracuse Young Adult Ministry tonight, Thursday, July 24 at 7 pm at Dinosaur BBQ as we welcome the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia! Don't miss these very special guests as they join us to discuss the concept of vocation and how it differs from a job or career.
FREE food is generously provided by The Diocese of Syracuse Young Adult Ministry. Parking in the lot across the street is also free - just make sure to tell the attendant that you are there for the talk.
Tomorrow, Friday, July 25th, there will be Walking Rosary for the Young Adults at Onondaga Lake Park at 6:30pm. Bring your rosary and bring a friend. We have extra rosaries for beginners. No experience needed. We will meet at the flag pole near Wegmans playground. Please pray for those of us who will be on Pilgrimage in Toronto this weekend :)
In addition, it is time to celebrate Fr. Eric and wish him our best as he begins a new chapter in his life working in Campus Ministry at Catholic University in Washington, DC! Fr Eric has been a wonderful blessing to our young adult community here at Assumption Church! We will miss him greatly as he he makes this exciting move. Please join us in Fr Eric's Farewell Mass on August 3rd at Assumption Church as we say goodbye and celebrate the blessings of his ministry here in Syracuse. Everyone is welcome. Mass will be at 11:30 am in the upper church. A potluck reception will follow. Please join us and bring a dish to pass!
