First, registration is due ASAP for Sacred Heart's young adult pilgrimage to Quebec for Columbus Day Weekend! Please contact Dan at 420-9217 by the this Saturday, September 26th at the latest if you are interested in attending. The group will be leaving Syracuse around 5:15pm on Friday, October 10th and returning on Monday, October 13th. They will be visiting St. Anne de Beaupré, St. Joseph's Oratory and other wonderful sites in Montréal and Québec City.

Join us and the Diocese of Syracuse Young Adult Ministry for Theology on Tap next week! Fr. Chris Ballard will be speaking about Religious Liberty - At Home and Abroad. FREE food is generously provided by The Diocese of Syracuse Young Adult Ministry. Parking in the lot across the street is also free - just make sure to tell the attendant that you are there for the talk.

Come join the Franciscan Young Adults of Syracsue in prayer, praise and adoration this Friday! There will be an hour of praise and worship, prayer, and adoration followed by time for fellowship. We are looking forward to seeing you all!

Transitus- Friday, October 3rd
Assumption Church
This day marks the Transitus which is the Celebration of the transition of St Francis from this life to his new life in Heaven. Assumption invites the entire parish community to this evening - not just the young adults. More details including timing will be sent out when they are finalized. This is a prayerful way to celebrate the Franciscan Life and Ministry at Assumption and in Syracuse.
First Friday Mass- Friday, October 3rd
Come join the Diocesan Young Adult Ministry for First Friday mass! We will be at the chapel connected with the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception downtown. Chapel opens at 6pm for confession and quiet prayer. Mass begins at 6:30pm, with fellowship to follow at Small Plates. Food is generously provide by the Diocesan Young Adult Ministry :)

The Franciscan Place - both Catholic gift/book shop and a chapel - is located near DSW and Old Navy in the commons level of the mall. Please feel free to stop in and spend a couple minutes with Jesus in the Chapel the next time you find yourself at the mall! A wonderful respite in the midst of your day!
