Dear Friends,
Hello! And welcome to Lent! As we start this new season, we are excited to share with you that we are moving our monthly Praise and Worship and Adoration event to The Franciscan Place at Destiny USA!! (located right next to the DSW shoe store on the commons level of the mall) We think that this will be a more easily accessible location to more people and we hope to draw in other young adults who may be at the mall at that time. Please join us next Friday, February 27th for our first event in the new location! In addition, the time of the event is changed from this point on to 6:30pm. Although our Facebook Page name remains the same, our group is now being known as The Franciscan Place Young Adults to better reflect the center of our activities. As you may have noticed, our e-mail address has also been changed in the same manner.
Praise & Worship & Adoration - Friday, February 27th 6:30pm
The Franciscan Place, Destiny mall
The evening will consist of Eucharistic Adoration, a spiritual reflection, time for quiet prayer, and music performed by our Assumption Praise and Worship band to guide you in your prayer and reflection.
Everyone is also invited to gather afterwards for fellowship and refreshments. We plan on gathering someplace at the mall afterwards to grab a bite to eat and socialize. Please join us!
Theology on Tap - Thursday, February 19th, 7pm
Dinosaur BBQ
Join us and the Diocese of Syracuse Young Adult Ministry for Theology on Tap next week! Fr. Jason Hage of Holy Family Church will join us to discuss "Getting Ready for Lent!"
FREE food is generously provided by The Diocese of Syracuse Young Adult Ministry. Parking in the lot across the street is also free - just make sure to tell the attendant that you are there for the talk.

The Franciscan Place - both Catholic gift/book shop and a chapel - is located near DSW and Old Navy in the commons level of the mall. Please feel free to stop in and spend a couple minutes with Jesus in the Chapel the next time you find yourself at the mall! A wonderful respite in the midst of your day!
