British Council in co-operation with Faculty of Commerce,
Chulalongkorn University, Change Fusion, Krungthep Turakij and Young
Thai Philanthropy Network would like to invite you to join the Social
Enterprise Forum on Perspectives of Social Enterprises: Thailand and
UK Experience on Wednesday 13 January 2010 at 15.00 hrs at British
Council Siam Square.

Our Distinguished speakers will be:

The agenda of the discussion will cover:
1. What ingredients are required to be a successful social entrepreneur?
2. What is the right time to start a social enterprise?
3. What are key challenges and obstacles that social enterprises face?
4. Comparing and contrasting the different types of social enterprises?
5. The role of social enterprises in national development
6. Factors for sustainable growth of social enterprises
7. Roles of the various parties in the growth and development of
social enterprise

This event is one of the activities on our social entrepreneurs
programme which aims to develop new relationships and partnerships
between Thailand and the UK to address social, economic and
environmental challenges through social enterprise.  It aims to create
partnerships across the public, private and non-governmental sectors
as well as engage community members to become skilled, motivated,
socially responsible and effective citizens.

On this occasion, Social Enterprise Business Plan Competition will
open for submit for application to win a trip to visit Social
Enterprises in the UK in June 2010. Please find more information on
the day!
