Mekong ICT Camp 2010
Training workshops on new media, ICT, and wireless technologies for
social change.

Mekong ICT Camp is a biannual training workshop on information, communication,
and technologies for citizen media, community health, and civil
society practitioners
in Mekong sub-region.

Participants are welcome from every countries in Mekong sub-region,
including Burma,
Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam.


Mekong ICT Camp 2010 is to be held in May 31-June 5, in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The camp is organized by Thai Fund Foundation and Opendream, in collaborations
with partners.


Two main themes we are thinking about for this 2010 camp:
1) Open mobile technologies for community communication, disease surveillance
and disaster relief; and
2) DIY information activism and citizen journalism.
