This artistic melting pot of chanting, dance, live music and narration serves up a theatrical delicacy in this version of stage reading backed by an entire continent’s deep desire to share the truth about its own spirituality as represented by Voices of Orisa.  This presentation through Voices of Orisa is to facilitate a spiritually enriching reconnection to African ancestry.

African Women Acting is a not-for-profit African Women Artists organization geared towards empowering, preserving and promoting Women issues & the heritage of African culture through African arts and Female artistes or artistes with African expression. We also intend to increase the public understanding and appreciation of African traditional and contemporary arts through professional female artistic production i.e. music, theater, dance, visual-arts and festival. Our priority as AWA is focused on African female artists but we as well collaborate with other gender and ethnic groups counterpart in the artistic scene.
