We give mighty greetings today to Ogun, of iron and fire, pathfinder and wayshower, creator, destroyer.

Without destruction, there is no creation, no cataclysm at cosmic beginning and no cosmos.

In our lives shatter all that is unworthy of the divine image.

Divine smith, help shape  ori from time's beginning, my head within and beyond space and time.

Guide structuring  of the immortal form crafted in the womb of eternity.

Notes

"Ase" is an Invocation of a cosmic force believed to enable existence and creativity, being and transformation.

"Ori" is understood as the immortal essence of the self, symbolised by the physical head of the individual.
