I read this essay and was absolutely delighted. Just as you were kind enough to help me find the contact details for Sophie Oluwolé’s publisher — from whom I am still awaiting a reply — I would like to ask for your generosity once again to help connect me with Professor Abiodun.

I am a PhD researcher specializing in Yoruba philosophy here in Brazil and am deeply focused on the work of Yoruba philosophers; however, there is very little literature available in Portuguese — insufficient for teaching at the university or school level. Consequently, I am dedicating significant effort to translation and to requesting the donation of copyright rights so that I can publish these books in Portuguese on a non-profit basis. Professor Babatunde Lawal has already granted me the rights to two of his books for publication in Portuguese in Brazil at no cost, but I have been unable to reach Professor Abiodun regarding the same matter. Would you be willing to forward this message to him and ask if he could spare some time to speak with me about this? Your assistance would be invaluable in helping to make this collection of books on African philosophy a reality.
