Dr. Roheemat Olabimpe Adeyemi is a Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages at the University of Ilorin.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of language, culture, and society, with a particular focus on Yoruba oral and written literature. She works extensively on Orature, Stylistics, and Linguistic analysis, and her scholarship also explores themes of conflict management through the lens of Yoruba language and tradition.
Dr. Adeyemi is an active member of the academic community. She is a member of the Yoruba Studies Association of Nigeria (YSAN) and currently serves as Treasurer of the Nigerian Institute of Translators and Interpreters (NITI).
Through her teaching, research, and service, she continues to contribute meaningfully to the growth of Yoruba studies and the broader field of Nigerian languages and linguistics.
