They have their positive benefits and their not- positive benefits, as well as their negative-turned- positive benefits. Let us start with electrical energy: it revolutionized darkness in such a way that we can turn it on and off at nights, and at any other time, at our whims (positive benefit). At the same time, careless handling of the same electrical energy can be catastrophic (negative benefit). However, the same negative effect of electrical energy can be used positively when a life is in the verge of crossing over (jump-starting a heart). Next in the list is water, a can't-do-without sustenance. Water is negative when its usefulness is abused, or tapped for negative effect, like interrogative water-boarding or the purposeful sinking of an object. Along the same line is Ogun tool energies: weapons. Weapons can be viewed as negative possessions or as necessary and positive possessions. Ogun tool is positive when its effect is beneficial to humanly defined causes such as survival and protections. At the same time, the same causes can be viewed as negative/positive, positive/negative for an instance of war. For the body and soul, comes "Medicinal energy," an energy that is used mostly for positive benefits (medicine). At the same time, medicinal energy's negative opposite, poison, is also used most times for beneficial effects: think of pest controls, certain antidotes, immunizations, etc. The other usage of medicinal energy can conjured, but it is not necessary to do so for now. Solar energy, the next in the list, needs no introduction. Although current industrial usage of solar energy might seem to cloud its evolutionary effect on life in general, sun, a natural solar energy, is as primordial to human existence as life itself. Solar energy is so designed by Odumare that the lack of it will mar humans' existence on earth: dependence on crop for survival, for instance. Yet, intense exposure of human skin to solar energy might result in medical attention. Not-too-intense exposure to the same solar energy, according to Yoruba mythology, changed human skin coloration from the beautifully shiny-dark color, to a lighter human skin color, thereby giving rise to human skin colors popularly known today as "Black" and "White," hence Yoruba's Oyinbo term for lighter human skin color. The last energy in the list, spiritually gifted energy that only very few humans can access, an energy that is also God given--Aje energy (witchcraft, bruja)--is definitely more positive than is negative. An Aje (a Witch, la Bruja) has the ability to see beyond the naked eyes that are part of human body symmetry. That gift of a third eye to an Aje affords her the monopoly of privacy of her actions. The inability of humans to assess Aje's actions, which would have afforded humans the opportunity to put a letter grade (pass or failure) on Aje's activities, in general, brought about humans' supercilious condemnation of Aje's energy. When Aje's energy is used to find a lost child, the power is positive; when Aje's energy is used for flight, it is positive; when Aje's energy is used for medical diagnosis, it is positive. However, when Aje's energy is used to harm, it is negative, just when an electrical energy, water energy, Ogun (iron/metal) tool energy, and medicinal energy are used for negative effects. On the positive side, tapping into Aje's energy for medical diagnosis will be cost effective as well as reducing residual risks from exposures to potential harmful instruments; tapping into Aje's energy for flight will reduce crashes and the stress that comes with long flights; tapping into Aje's energy will reduce costs in security apparatus as well ensuring "unlimited" protections because there would be no need for cameras and its monitoring, plus everyone will be conscious of the unseen, protectively watchful eyes of other humans around. Moreover, Aje's instrument of operation is privately held; this in effect protects everyone's private information from unauthorized access. In addition, humans' bodily sanctuaries, when scanning for weapons, say at the airports, will be off-limit to unnecessary privy eyes.
