"The Hit" awoke early on October 25 TH, and he finished preparing his
synopsis. Auto Glass Shops would get free database access, insurers
would reduce claim processing costs, and wholesaler could receive and
complete through the database while the customer stood at the counter
in the auto glass shop. Streamlining the industry with database
sharing and video confirmation of insurance claims would reduce costs
dramatically. "The Hit" accepted the fact that insurance companies
would always want to pay the lowest rate for a repair. However, the
claim processing cost was currently close to 22 percent for a auto
glass claim. The artificial intelligence added to consider regional
differences in costs would cut overall costs. Onlineglass-com could
resolve the claim process for much less, and the need to pay
independent claim processing centres could be elevated completely.
The economics were sound, and the growth of the Internet as a backbone
facilitated the connectivity at a very low cost. Onlineglass-com
would be the independent arbitrator of insurance claims, while the
company was not actively involved in insurance, wholesale, or auto
glass repair. Artificial fixed pricing would be replaced by market
competition. It was very American.

Guns and Murder

At the end of February 1998, there was two things that "The Hit" could
hardly believe possible. The first unbelievable event was that the
Gang from Clavet setup their own friends to get at him. "The Hit"
knew the Gang from Clavet understood what happened in the home
invasion. They knew because Jimmy The Junkie would have been
switching vehicles since the wedding in Winlaw. They knew because
they could accuse "The Hit". They would have seen the emergency
broadcast. They knew. The second unbelievable event was that he was
now being blamed for the largest drug bust ever in Vancouver! He knew
the 4 junkies (pawns) were trapped by the Gang from Clavet. He also
knew that between the Gang from Clavet, Jimmy The Junkie, and his
Crew, they outnumbered him in spreading the word around. The Gang
from Clavet had 4 pawns trapped, and the Gang from Clavet chose not to
save their friends the night of the home invasion. They could have
easily warned their friends, but they sent them to prison instead.
They trapped their pawns in a lie, and now they were trying to blame
"The Hit" to get their revenge. "The Hit" could see that they were
trying to get the Hell's Angels to kill "The Hit" to cover up what
they in fact did intentionally. What should he do?

On Monday November 10 TH 1997, "The Hit" woke up at 8:00 AM to shower
and pack his bags for the flight back to Vancouver. He stood at the
Westin desk waiting for his turn, and while he checked out he thought
he caught a glimpse of the blond haired man on the stairs. However,
he checked out and wheeled his bag out of the hotel. He walked
northwest on Island Ave / PA-291 toward Bartram Ave where he turned
left at Bartram Ave / PA-291 past the Hampton Inn. He continued his
walk to S Gov Printz Blvd where he took a right to Philadelphia
International Airport (PHL). He checked in to get his boarding pass,
and once again he kept his luggage with him on the plane. He waited
for his flight on Southwest 560 to board at 10:35 hours for Phoenix.
The flight arrived at Phoenix Sky Harbor International at 13:35 hours
local time.

In Vancouver, "The Hit" walked down Venables Street to the corner
store for licorice. He needed to find a way to tell someone about the
currency used in the home invasion. The 4 junkies (pawns) had no
choice. If they didn't support the Clan from Clavet, the 4 hapless
junkies from Hastings Street would get turned into the Hell's Angels
and the Cartel by the Clan from Clavet. He knew they were being
played like pawns, as he approached Commercial Drive. The Clan from
Clavet intentionally involved them in the information about the drug
deal. The Clan from Clavet ignored the note! Instead, they were
cruising Commercial Drive in Vancouver with the note blaming "The Hit"
for the drug loss. "The Hit" turned left up the hill before turning
left again into the confectionary in the old building on the east side
of Commercial Drive just across the street from the Food Stop. They
had great licorice and "The Hit" was a regular. "The Hit" grabbed a
bag of chips, and he went to the counter to get his licorice. There,
in front of "The Hit" stood a small, thin, 30's looking, dark haired
man with a Rebel Jacket. "The Hit" recognized the Yosemite Sam with
the Rebels insignia on his jacket. The Rebel was leaning over the
counter, and he was taking his time. "The Hit" waited while he
started shaking wiggling his ass back and forth. Meanwhile, the clerk
at the counter did not hurry him, and "The Hit" assumed they knew each
other. Finally, he walked to the left into the store. "The Hit"
bought his licorice, and he looked at the man on the way out of the
store. It was the member of the Clan from Clavet "The Hit" remembered
from Rumours in Saskatoon, Pacific Central Rail Station in Vancouver,
The Saskatoon Trip, and the Toronto Trip. He was a Saskatoon Rebel!
What did this mean?

Sawed Off Shotgun: Plowing the Road

On Commercial Drive Mitchell still appeared to be defending the NAGS
part numbering system, and "The Hit" was working on his own database.
What could have been a front end for a database was becoming both a
front and back end to the auto glass industry. "The Hit" set up a
Sony VAIO running Windows 98 for David's potential investor, and
Dallas, Edmonton, Detroit, and St. Louis were poised to win their
Western Conference quarterfinals. Paul was becoming a regular
visitor, and life on Commercial Drive was getting ugly. Starbucks,
Avanti's, Super Valu, Norman's, and walking on Commercial Drive was
not helping. "The Hit" decided to pick up a hack saw, blades, and
black electrical tape at the Home Hardware Store on the 1500 block of
Commercial Drive for the 12 Gauge Cooey. "The Hit" also picked up an
additional lock for the door which he installed himself. Finally, he
"adjusted" the shotgun by cutting the barrel down and cutting most of
the stock off the shotgun. He taped the handled with a whole roll of
tape to secure the remaining wood to the metal arm which went into the
wood. Paul became familiar with the sawed off shotgun beside his
keyboard while he worked at the end of April 1998. Meanwhile, the
Clan from Clavet was plowing the road in front of him on Commercial
Drive.

Sawed Off Shotgun: 30 - 30 Winchester

"The Hit" left Penny and Melanie hanging out at the house trailer for
Christmas. Donny left to Bellevue to visit his mother for Christmas,
and Leo picked "The Hit" up at # 20 Star Trailer Court to go to St.
Brieux for the Christmas holidays. The exams were over, and it was
time for Christmas in St. Brieux. "The Hit" had the usual Christmas
holiday, and he returned with the Econoline Van and a 30 / 30
Winchester rifle just in case he needed it to keep control of the
house trailer. It may not have been the best idea, however he had
enough with the parties and fights. He was just going to lock
everyone out, and let a few of his new friends into the trailer. "The
Hit" broke off his relationship with Melanie, and he kept to himself
at the beginning of January 1981. The parties were over, and "The
Hit" was going to try to force himself back to the University of
Saskatchewan.

The 1 /2 hour meeting on Main Street with the Vancouver Police
Department accomplished very little in 1998 in the 2 ND week of May.
"The Hit" explained how he knew about the home invasion. He explained
that he knew the car in the home invasion, and he explained why the
home invasion disappeared from the media. He explained why there were
never any arrests. He explained why the old couple agreed to the
Vancouver Police Departments deal. He did his best to explain how the
Vancouver Police Departments informant was dealing with the
situation. He explained how he was being ostracized on the street.
He explained what happened at the Lamplighter Pub. He explained how
Jimmy The Junkie, his Crew, and the Clan from Clavet were trying to
get him killed by the Hell's Angels and the Cartel. He explained that
they were hiding behind him, and the Vancouver Police Departments
informant was going to get him killed. The two officers did not deny
anything that "The Hit" said that day.

Conspiracy to Commit Murder: Edmonton

"The Hit" in turn was starting to get to know Kevin and Garth better.
Kevin was originally from Elrose, and both Kevin and Garth moved into
the house trailer at Star Trailer Court from Confederation Park while
Donny moved out in 1981 at the beginning of April. This was designed
to be a short term stay, and the extra cash helped "The Hit" keep up
on his bills. Then, early in May life took another one of it's
twists. Penny showed up at "The Hit's" door. They had not seen each
other in about 5 months, and "The Hit" now understood that Penny had
moved on to Edmonton. She was living with her steady boyfriend, and
Penny, Garth, and "The Hit" caught up on the news. She was driving a
vehicle, and she seemed to be doing well. She was just in Saskatoon
for the weekend, and she would be heading back to Edmonton shortly.
"The Hit" thought this might be the last time that he would see Penny
AKA Barb Miner from Nelson. Garth and "The Hit" watched her drive
off.

In Saskatoon Penny drove off to Edmonton in 1981, and "The Hit" had
visitors while Garth and Kevin were living at Star Trailer Court.
Kevin Joubert was out on business, and Garth answered the door. In
walked Becky's brother "The Hit" believes his name is Kevin. Kevin
walked in with 2 or his friends. Kevin ended up punching "The Hit" in
the mouth, and Garth came out of his room. Kevin and his two friends
left. "The HIt" believes this was Kevin from the Sands Hotel in
Saskatoon, Kevin from the Pacific Central Rail Station in Vancouver,
Kevin on the street in Toronto, and "The Hit" believes it was the same
Kevin with the Rebels jacket when buying licorice on Commercial Drive
in Vancouver. In the spring of 1998 the Saskatoon Rebels were the
club in Saskatoon, and they would later that year become a Hell's
Angels club. "The Hit" was not sure what the event at the house
trailer was about?

In Saskatoon, the summer and fall of 1982 saw "The Hit" in a parking
booth for 5 hours a day. "The Hit" worked long hours after his stint
in the parking booth for Imperial Parking building up the parking
company. "The Hit" painted the underground level of the multi level
Imperial Parking Parkade at 234 1st Avenue South in Saskatoon. He
went on to paint the inside stairwells at both ends of the parkade,
and he painted all the light wells throughout the parkade white for
better lighting. He added security lights to the stairwells, and he
replaced ballasts in the florescent lights to get them working again.
He bought new florescent tubes, and every light worked before he
painted the entire face of the parkade including the stairwell
exteriors. The parking facility at 234 1st Avenue South in Saskatoon
looked 100 percent better with the lighting and 500 Gallons of paint.
Suddenly, Imperial Parking and "The Hit" were ready to expand.

Sherman Anti Trust Act

"The Hit" spent the rest of the day working on the Onlineglass.com
software project. He used some of his inheritance to buy the project
a third P3 300 MHz computer for the project. The database was
getting much bigger with the populated arrays as both the database and
script increased in size. The new computer became the main
programming computer. One older PII 233 MHz became the TV Computer /
Backup computer. Finally, the third PII 233 MHz became an
application / database server. The distribution of workload
simplified programming and saved costly losses of programming and data
progression from hardware, software, or programming errors. The
overall functionality of the demo version was far beyond what had been
demonstrated to either Doug at Speedy Auto Glass or Bill at UDI.
Meanwhile, the auto glass industry and the courts remained stalled
regarding the legal status of the NAGS numbers with regards to the
Sherman Anti Trust Act in the United States.

Britannia Hockey Arena

"The Hit" stepped into the Britannia Hockey Arena, and he turned to
the left before walking to the offices where he had observed the
times on the doors at the Britannia Policing Station. His heart
stopped. The door was locked. He checked the hours again, and he
started to panic. The could see clearly through the glass that the
office was empty. What would he do now? He thought about going back
to the apartment. He walked back outside of the hockey arena. The
plan to walk back to 910 Victoria Drive took an abrupt turn as he
watched a young man who had been on the pay phone on the corner of the
Vancouver East Cultural Centre. The 5 ' 10" inch stocky man with dark
black hair was not one of the Clan from Clavet as far as "The Hit" was
concerned. He was positioned to the left of the hockey arena door in
the walkway area at the edge of Napier Street. The idea of going back
to Victoria drive faded as soon as it had begun. Where was the
officer for the Britannia Policing Station?

The land chosen by the chiefs was generally in the lower areas, in the

Canadian Confederation, and BC was eventually Incorporated to include
944,735 square kilometres in it's modern day configuration. According
to the Ministry of Management Services and the Government of British

In Martensville, Ron had made a deal to rebuild the Martensville Car
Wash and Gas bar for Imperial Oil. Ron and "The Hit" worked 12 hours
a day through the fall and winter of 1987 renovating the Car Wash and
Gas Bar. They painted the exterior and exterior, put in new furnaces,
rebuilt all the pumps, built a confectionary, and opened for business
before Christmas in 1987. "The Hit" worked for the Martensville Car
Wash and Gas Bar for the winter and spring of 1988, and he then moved
to Ottawa for a fresh start. He found work in Ottawa in the fall of
1988 at Union Auto Parts, and he took a one year accounting course at
Woodwards College in Nepean in 1989 / 1999 before he finally found his
way back to beautiful British Columbia to complete the full circle
from his youth to the beginning of "The Hit's" life in Greater
Vancouver.

Saskatoon Rebels

The Hit assumed the Mysterious Financier was setting up the Saskatoon
Rebels, and in fact the trip from Vancouver to Saskatoon on the Canada
Train saw the Hell's Angels being setup all the way. The Saskatoon
Rebels / Hells Angels in Saskatoon were no exception as they witnessed
Jimmy The Junkie, Little Mike, Mike, Jeff and the Mysterious Financier
telling their story with The Note in Saskatoon. The Hit just knew the
Mysterious Financier wasn't telling them the truth either? They were
setting up them up Hell's Angels. Meanwhile, with the computer and
his bags in tow they left the VIA Train Station in Saskatoon. Cayla
was excited, even though it was very early in the morning, and The Hit
was nervous as they stepped outside into the cold prairie winter. The
Hit tried to act casual even though he was anything but relaxed.
