Dear Yokohama JALT Members,

Call for Presentations

Our Saturday, December 20th Chapter event is a "My Share".

If you would like to present, please prepare a 10-15 minute presentation on a practical teaching topic – an activity, materials, or similar. If you wish to book a slot to share your lesson/idea/teaching tip, please mail your proposal to pres...@yojalt.org .

The event will be held in the afternoon of the 20th at Kannai Hall, which is centrally (and conveniently) located in Yokohama.

Yokohama Chapter Officer Election

Part of our meeting in October will be the election of our Chapter officers.  Right now the following people have offered their services for the following positions:

Pres/Program: Malcolm Prentice
Treasury: Brett Milliner
Membership: Koki Tomita
Publicity: Jennie Roloff Rothman

If anyone would like to put their name forward for an officer position, now is your chance to speak up/step forward.  In particular, we are looking for a Program Chair, since currently our President, Malcolm Prentice, has been handling our event scheduling since late last year.

JALT National Elections

The JALT National election ballot has been sent out, but has apparently found its way into many spam folders.  If you have not received your ballot, please check your spam folder and please vote!
