Hanami Party, Saturday the 29th!

Dear Yokohama JALT Members!

Next weekend the sakura are predicted to be perfect, so we would like to invite you to a Yokohama JALT Hanami party! 

The location is world class, so it's not to be missed.  We will have our get together at Mitsuike Park, which makes the list as one of Japan's "100 best cherry blossom spots", and it's the only one on the list found in the city of Yokohama.   Mitsuike Park features three ponds around which over a thousand cherry trees are planted.

The nearest station is Tsurumi (鶴見) on the JR Keihin-Tohoku line 京浜東北線.  Take the West Exit 西口 and take one of the following buses:  Shi-ei bus 市営バス Nos. 6, 67 or 104 heading for Kajiyama 梶山 or Shin-Yokohama 新横浜.  Get off at Mitsuike-koen Kita-mon (north gate)三ツ池公園北門.  It's a 3 minute walk from the bus stop.    Here's a map:  Access

Date and Time:  Saturday, March 29th at 2:00pm. 

Bring along family, friends, co-workers, whoever you wish!  And don't forget your favorite snacks and beverages to enjoy, and perhaps a cushion or sheet to sit on.

We will update the front page of http://yojalt.org with details on exactly where we are in the park after we find a place to sit, but it’s a small park – you can probably just find us by walking around.
