The workshop will be held at Seisen-ryo, a retreat center at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake. First completed in 1938, it has long been used for cross-cultural outreach and training next-generation leaders. Surrounded by forests and with a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, it features a nature center, hot springs, walking trails and locally produced food. Seisen-ryo is the home of the Kiyosato Educational Experiment Project (KEEP), originally started by Dr. Paul Rusch to help Japan rebuild after WWII. KEEP does educational, agricultural, environmental and international outreach. See http://www.seisenryo.jp/en/about/index.html for the history of Seisen-ryo.
