Yojimbo Extension

In MacOS checking the extension setting, Yojimbo can allow Spotlight searches but does not offer the sharing option. It seems this would be a natural for Yojimbo. If I have an Apple Note for example and want to send to Yojimbo, I could just use the share button. I can print the page to a pdf and send that way, but it seems the share button would be more seamless.

I agree that would be a handy feature. There is another option though.

Long before share sheets were a thing, Yojimbo has a custom solution called Quick Input. I have enabled Quick Input with Shift-F8. That doesn’t automatically grab the currently displayed content, but may be good enough for your needs.

There is also the Yojimbo Drop Dock, but I don’t use that.

Lastly, a quick search online shows it’s possible to create custom share sheet extensions, which could be linked with Yojimbo using AppleEvents. That would require some coding skills though.
