I would probably search Iyengar yoga techers in Boston, and look for the most Senior teacher around. They could probably help. Also Patricia Walden teaches in Cambrisge--not Boston--but she could probably help or perhaps give a recommendation. http://www.yoga.com/www/patriciawalden/Class_Schedule.html

    Hello-

My cousin who lives in Boston was recently diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's
disease), a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells
in the brain and the spinal cord.

She is interested in beginning a yoga regiment to help maintain flexibility
and muscle strength for as long as possible. Can anyone recommend a good
teacher in the Boston area that specializes in therapeutic yoga or works
    with people with ALS?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Namaste~
    Catie
